Dear Sir/Madam,
I will arrive in Beijing Airport at 11:55 am on Tuesday 18th of June. I would like to travel to Chengde by bus the same day. Is there a direct shuttle bus from the airport (Beijing International airport) to Beijing Sihui Bus station? Or what is the best way to get from the airport to Sihui bus station? And I saw that there are several busses going from Sihui to Chengde. Do I have to buy a ticket beforehand, or can I buy a ticket when I get to the bus station on the 18th? I don't know yet exactly which bus I will manage to take (13:45 or 14:05 or 14:30 or 14:55 or later).
Thanks a lot for your help!

Best regards,

@Seb,
Direct bus is not available between Beijing Capital International Airport and Sihui Long Distance Bus Station. The quickest method for you would be to take a taxi. Distance between the two places is about 27 km. To take a taxi, it costs about CNY 100 Yuan and riding time is about 40 minutes.
You can also choose to travel by the metro even though is quite complicated and time consuming. To do so, you can firstly take Beijing Metro the Airport Line to Sanyuanqiao Station and change line 10 for Guomao Station and then change line 1 for Sihui Station. Upon arrival, you can leave from A exit of Sihui Metro Station and walk 320 meters to get to Sihui Long Distance Bus Station. Time for the metro journey is about 70 minutes and ticket fare is CNY 29 Yuan.
Yes, you can just purchase tickets directly from Sihui Long Distance Bus Station upon your arrival there from PEK Airport.
