Chengdu Xinnanmen Bus Station has a three floor station building. The ticket hall, toilet rooms, automatic ticket vending machines are all arranged on the 2nd floor while the waiting rooms are mainly located on the ground floor. Passengers with much carry on luggage will have to take trouble to walk upstairs to purchase or collect tickets and then come down to the ground floor to board the bus.
The station has left luggage facilities and it has free drinking water to provide.
Chengdu Xinnanmen Bus Station has shuttle buses for Leshan, Emeishan, Ya'an Bifeng Gorge, Meishan, Pengshan, Jiajiang, Pujiang, Huanglongxi Ancient Town, Luodai Ancient Town, White Crane Mountain. It also has schedule buses for Hailuogou, Jiuzhaigou, Ganzi, Daocheng, Luding, Kangding, Beihai, Lijiang and etc.
