Outbound travelers can get off at the drop-off area on the ground floor of the Passenger Clearance Building and then come to the Departure Hall on the same floor. Once having completed border clearance, travelers can just walk forward still on the same floor to take shuttles or coaches for Zhuhai, Macau or other Chinese cities. Meanwhile, inbound travelers arriving in Hong Kong can go through all border crossing procedures on the ground floor of the building, making the journey more convenient.

Airport Authority Hong Kong (AA) launched off-airport check-in service when the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macau Bridge opened on October 24, 2018. The Check-in Service Center, locating at the arrival hall, now offers check-in service for four Hong Kong based airlines including Cathay Pacific, Cathay Dragon, Hong Kong Airlines and HK Express. Travelers using any of these four carriers can not only go here to check the baggage but also obtain their boarding passes. This way, travelers can take the hassle out of the baggage to travel to other places of Hong Kong leisurely as they wish and collect the checked baggage at their destinations.
