Can I come from this bus station to Taxia or Foujian Tulou?

Anonymous · July 1, 2019

Good day
I am writing from South Africa.
My daughter who teaches in Nanjing needs to transport her pet (cat) to Shanghai for a veterinary medical check in July.
Is there any way of transport – be it bus, train or other – that she can take the cat to Shanghai in a container?
Your urgent help will be appreciated.

@Anonymous,
We can't answer you this topic as a travel agency. You should let your daughter to go to the bus station or train station to consult the matter as people there have final right to decide it. Personally, I think it's possible to transport the cat through bus or train by putting it into a container.

Good day!
When travelling from Nanjing to Shanghai by bus - can pet (cat) in container be taken on bus by passenger?

elinorzhu · June 12, 2019

@Johann,
We don't have the final answer on this regard since we are not the bus operator, please take your time to go to the bus station by showing pictures of cat in container to the bus station staff and ask people there if it's possible to do so and I trust people there would give you professional advice on this topic.

@elinorzhu,
Thank you for your quick response - will follow your advice.
We would obviously preferred to have gone by bullet train - but they clearly do not allow animals (other than guide dogs) on train.
