Local passengers can purchase tickets from either ticket window or ticket vending machine at the ticket hall. Since ticket vending machines can't read passports, international travelers will have to go to the ticket window and show their passports to purchase/reserve tickets. What we want to remind you is: bus tickets for tourist sights such as Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Wulingyuan, Tianzishan, Jiangya Ancient Town, Zhonghu Town are not sold through ticket windows at all. Instead, Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station opens a fast track which allows travelers to board bus bounding for such tourist areas directly. That means, you can ignore ticket purchasing and check-in procedures and enter the boarding area through the fast track to queue up to get on the bus immediately upon arrival. The shuttle bus would leave as long as it is full and the bus conductor will request you to pay for bus ticket on the way.

The bus station has left luggage office opening from early morning until middle night. It is said left luggage price here is quite lower than that of tourist service center at Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and etc. Here it also allows you to check the luggage right through to your final destination. It costs about CNY 20 Yuan per small item or CNY 25 Yuan per big item to transport the luggage from the left luggage office of Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station to hotels on the mountains. It opens for limited time and you are advised to have luggage checked before 4:00 pm.
Located in the downtown, Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station itself is full of life atmosphere with hotels, restaurants, bath centers surrounding by. 🛈 Inside the station building, there is a Many Shopping Center selling candy & wine, cigarette, food, drinks, special local products and etc. 🛈 The McDonald's restaurant next to the entrance provides hamburgers and other fast food. 🛈 Small shops at the waiting room have Zhangjiajie tourist map, umbrella and disposable anti-slip shoe covers to sell.
Zhangjiajie Airport to Bus Station. You can take city bus No. 4 to travel between Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport and Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station. Riding time is about 35 minutes and ticket price is CNY 2 Yuan. To take a taxi, riding distance is about 5 km, riding time is about 10 minutes and taxi fare is about CNY 20 to 30 Yuan. 🛈 Please remember to tell the driver clearly that you want to go to Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station which is close to the railway station to make sure he/she will not take you to Wulingyuan Bus Station or even the bus station at Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.

Zhangjiajie Bus Station to Tianmenshan Mountain. Tianmenshan Mountain Cableway Station is 800 to 900 meters northwest to Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Zhangjiajie Bus Station to Tianmenshan Cableway Station.
