i would like to go from Zhengzhou to Shaolin Monastery this saturday and from Shalon Monastery to Zhengzhou on sunday. It´s my first time there and don´t know my way around? i will be in zhengzhou east train station. Can you help me out with this? How far always is the bus station from Zhengzhou East Railway Station, are the near? or Should I get train ticket for another train station instead?

Distance is 20 km from Zhengzhou East Railway Station to Zhengzhou Central Bus Station and you can take a taxi to go there. Riding time is about half an hour and taxi fare is about CNY 50 Yuan.
Otherwise, if you are not traveling with big luggage, you can choose to take the metro. Metro fare is 3 Yuan and riding time is about 40 minutes, but you will have to take trouble to walk from the metro station to the central bus station, which maybe complicated for you to find it. To travel by metro, you can take line one and alight at Erqi Square Station and leave from D exit and walk around 1.1 km to Zhengzhou Central Bus Station..
